The Warriors cruised to a 127–100 victory in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals on Thursday night thanks to 30 points from Klay Thompson and a near-triple-double from Draymond Green.
Green finished with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists and was a +15 in his 28 minutes on the floor. After helping the Warriors tie their playoff series at one game apiece, Green joined NBATV to discuss the win. The interview started out pretty standard, but went sideways when Green didn’t understand a term used by Isiah Thomas.
“Hey Draymond, what’s impressive about your guys’ run over the last years is that all of you have still found a way to be thirsty and hungry to win,” Thomas began. “How have you managed to do that and stay insatiable about winning?”
Green had a classic response.
“Isiah, that’s a big word and I’m not sure I understand what that word means,” he said chuckling. The entire NBATV set and Green broke out in laughter after the exchange.

Regardless of whether or not Green knows what the word “insatiable” means, it’s clear that the longtime Warriors veteran still has the game to help his team compete for another NBA title.
Game 3 shifts to Los Angeles on Saturday night.
