The Golden State Warriors will have to finish the second half of Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Memphis Grizzlies without Draymond Green.
On Sunday, Green was ejected from the game with 1:18 left in the second quarter on an extremely controversial Flagrant 2 call. On a play at the rim, Green grabbed the collar of Brandon Clarke as he was shooting, pulling the Grizzlies forward to the ground.
Though Green expressed that the play was an accident, that his hand got caught in Clarke’s collar, the officials ejected the Warriors forward with a Flagrant 2. At the time of his ejection, Green had four rebounds, three assists, and six points.
Here’s how the play went down.

As he was being ejected, Green gestured at the Grizzlies crowd, taunting them as they booed him off for the foul.

Though surely a foul, the Warriors were stunned that Green was ejected for the grab and pull. Steph Curry was clearly not pleased with the proceedings either.
