These dramatic images show the moment a cliff rescue took place after a group of people were stranded by the tide on a Welsh beach.
Lifesavers were called to Llansteffan beach in Carmarthen at around 3.40pm on Sunday. Eyewitnesses at the scene said a Rescue 187 helicopter was in attendance, as five people were rescued from "crashing waves" by the coastguard crew.
It is believed that the people involved were cut off by the incoming tide in Llansteffan. Eyewitnesses say they were dropped off on the beach in Llansteffan by Rescue 187.
Ferryside Lifeboat Crew were also dispatched to the incident as well. A spokeswoman said: "Medical care was not needed. HM Coastguard Llansteffan checked all five casualties."
