A huge fire ripped through a vehicle in Tameside in the early hours before then spreading to a nearby garage in dramatic scenes caught on camera.
Firefighters were called to the blaze on Mellor Street in Droylsden just before 2.15am this morning (April 3) to reports of a vehicle fire which had then quickly spread to a garage.
Videos taken at the scene show the car well alight by the time crews arrived, with thick plumes of smoke billowing overhead as the fire was tackled with hoses.

At least three fire engines responded as well as officers from Greater Manchester Police. Fire personnel remained at the scene for a number of hours.
The roaring blaze was eventually extinguished using hoses and the area was made safe. The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: "Just before 2.15am in the early hours of this morning (Monday 3 April), three fire engines from Ashton-under-Lyne, Gorton and Phillips Park fire stations, together with the Technical Response Unit from Ashton, were called to attend a fire on Mellor Street, Droylsden.
"The incident involved a vehicle fire which had spread to a nearby commercial garage. Crews arrived quickly at the scene, and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus gained entry to the property and used two hose reels and jets to extinguish the fire and make the area safe. Firefighters remained at the scene throughout the morning."
