A dramatic rescue unfolded on a bridge in Kentucky when a semi-truck collided with multiple vehicles, causing it to slide off the side of the bridge and dangle precariously over the Ohio River. The driver was left trapped inside the cab, prompting a swift response from Louisville firefighters.
It took approximately 40 minutes for the firefighters to set up a specialized rescue system. Firefighter Bryce Carden bravely descended down to the cab using rappelling techniques. Once he reached the driver, he secured her to himself and the two were successfully pulled to safety.
