Drake reportedly felt 'mixed emotions' when Rihanna announced her pregnancy with boyfriend A$AP Rocky.
The God's Plan singer - real name Aubrey Graham - had a long and flirtatious history with RiRi and always had a crush on the Bajan singer.
In 2016, he famously revealed he loved Rihanna, 34, for many years while presenting her with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs.
"I’ve been in love with her since I was 22," the 35-year-old told the crowd at the time.
And now, a source claimed he went through a lot of emotions when he heard the shocking news in January.
"When Rihanna announced she was pregnant, he had mixed emotions," the insider told HollywoodLife.
"Of course, he was ecstatic for her because he knew she had always wanted children. But at one point in time, Drake saw himself having a future with Rihanna so it was just further confirmation that there was no future for them."
According to the source, the Marvin's Room rapper even texted Rihanna to congratulate her on the baby.
Mirror have contacted Drake's representative for comment.
Drake and Rihanna had been friends for years before he made the announcement at the VMAs.
They collaborated several times, including on the 2010 hit What's My Name?, 2011's Take Care and 2016's Work.
Back in January, Rihanna shocked the world when she announced her pregnancy with A$AP Rocky.
In true RiRi fashion, she shared the news by doing a casual photoshoot in the freezing weather in Harlem, New York City.
The Umbrella singer began dating rapper Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, in 2020.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art paid tribute to the mother-to-be with a life-size marble statue of her, which is head-to-toe in a floral pattern, after collaborating with Vogue magazine.
Posting a video of the sculpture on her Instagram page, Rihanna wrote: "Shut down the met in marble! What’s more gilded than that? Lol!
"Thank you @metmuseum and @voguemagazine for this historic tribute! y’all bad for this one!"
