Draft reaction: Buccaneers select offensive lineman Cody Mauch No. 48 overall

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers add yet another young and talented player along their offensive line in North Dakota States offensive lineman Cody Mauch, who can play at either the guard or tackle position.

Mauch started out as a tight end with the Bison, but converted over to the offensive line. He maintained much of his athleticism from his former position which has translated into a tough mauler of an offensive line for North Dakota State. In his final year with the team, he only allowed one quarterback hit, as well as just one sack while playing at left tackle.

While he played tackle at North Dakota State, Mauch likely projects at guard for the Buccaneers. With his raw strength, long arms, and athleticism, he could start right away in Tampa Bay. He could play tackle if needed and could hop around the offensive line until he finds a full-time position.
