Dr. Anthony Fauci recently addressed concerns surrounding the gunshot wound sustained by former President Trump during an assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania. The incident, which occurred on July 13, involved shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks firing a bullet that grazed the side of Trump's head, ultimately hitting the top of his right ear. Tragically, one spectator lost their life, and two others were critically injured before the assailant was shot dead by U.S. Secret Service agents.
During an interview, Dr. Fauci sought to reassure the public about the severity of Trump's wound and the subsequent medical treatment. He emphasized that based on the information available, the bullet merely grazed Trump's ear, causing an injury that was examined by physicians. Dr. Fauci stated, 'I don’t think there is much more to it. I mean, from what we’ve seen and what we’ve heard, it was a bullet shot that grazed his ear and injured his ear, according to the physicians who examined him. There was no other further damage.'
