(Picture: Google Maps)A courier giant unfairly fired an employee at its south London depot who took food from unclaimed parcels - because it failed to properly investigate his claim management was encouraging it, a tribunal has ruled.
Delivery firm DPD fired Wiliam Morty from his role as a depot operative from its Croydon warehouse after he was caught on camera opening an unclaimed food parcel and putting its contents into a Sainsbury’s carrier bag in 2018.
