Train operator Northern is installing dozens of potentially life-saving defibrillators across its stations - after more than a hundred were introduced last year.
The rail provider is adding defibrillators to 60 more stations this year, joining the 187 already in use - which were used on 22 occasions last year.
Every defibrillator comes with a simple step-by-step guide on how to use the equipment, while clever internal computers will monitor heart rhythms and deliver the electric shock if it is needed.
