If you love doughnuts and iconic flavours, you may be the perfect person that a pastry giant is looking for. Krispy Kreme is offering one lucky fan a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go behind-the-scenes to help launch the brand new, limited-edition Jaffanut, in partnership with McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes.
The money-can’t-buy experience will include the appointed Taste Master taking over Krispy Kreme’s social channels. The Taste Master will get to see how Krispy Kreme doughnuts are made, providing a rare glimpse into new product development.
The biggest and most exciting task will involve tasting Jaffanut doughnuts as part of an important quality control task. The icing on the Jaffanut is a £500 reward and a year's supply of Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
Krispy Kreme say more than half of 25-44 year old Brits believe that becoming a sweet treat food tester would be a dream job for them.
What is a Jaffanut?
Krispy Kreme’s signature soft dough is filled with Jaffa Cakes’ iconic zesty orange flavoured filling. It is topped with a dark chocolatey icing and moulded into a Jaffa Cake-shaped doughnut, to replicate the shape of the iconic cake.
Jaffanuts can be purchased from Krispy Kreme shops, supermarkets, services and via UberEats, Deliveroo and JustEat. It is available for a limited time until Sunday October 9, 2022 and costs from £2.45 for a single treat or as part of three-pack.
The three-pack contains two Jaffanuts and a Krispy Kreme fan favourite – the Original Glazed for £6.50. The Jaffanut is set to be a popular option for those who can’t make their minds up between a Krispy Kreme doughnut and Jaffa Cake.
How to apply for Taste Master role
Jaffanatics and Krispy Kreme fans can apply for the role through TikTok. They need to share content that shows how and why they are the biggest Jaffanatic and Krispy Kreme fan in the UK and Ireland.
The fan whose post has the most engagement will be in the running to become the Jaffanut Taste Master this September. Posts must tag @KrispyKremeUKI and @JaffaCakes plus #Jaffanut.
