During his visit to Michigan, Emhoff confidently stated, 'I think we win this election, we’re gonna win here in Michigan.' He shared his hope of being able to tell his wife, 'honey, you’re the president of the United States,' in the near future.
Emhoff highlighted the positive impact of Harris' campaign, emphasizing the joy and emotional connection she brings to her supporters. He noted the enthusiasm and energy surrounding Harris' message, particularly evident during his interactions with voters at a diner in Pleasant Ridge, Michigan.
Specifically, Emhoff visited the Whistle Stop Diner in Oakland County, a crucial area for potential Democratic success in the state. Democrats previously carried the county in both the 2016 and 2020 elections, with Biden securing a wider margin in 2020, contributing to the state's shift to blue.
