During a recent speech at the University of Pittsburgh, second gentleman Doug Emhoff condemned former President Donald Trump's rally at Madison Square Garden. Emhoff expressed deep concern over the racist and antisemitic remarks made by speakers at the event, calling them appalling and hurtful, especially given the timing on the anniversary of the Tree of Life Synagogue massacre.
Emhoff specifically called out Trump for his alleged comments about Hitler and his divisive rhetoric towards immigrants and Jewish Americans. Emhoff warned against rewarding such behavior with power and emphasized the importance of standing up against antisemitism.
