Double rapist Simon McGinley in court facing charges of breaching Sex Offenders Act

Notorious rape beast Simon McGinley has appeared in court charged with breaching the conditions of the Sex Offenders Act.

McGinley (48), who was released from prison in October, was brought before Dundalk District Court yesterday, we can reveal. The infamous double-rapist, who walked free from prison in September after 13 years, was charged over allegedly failing to comply with the conditions of the Act.

Under the Act a person on the register must provide an address to An Garda Siochana where they are residing and must sign on on a regular basis. Mr McGinley was granted bail yesterday on his own bond of €200 under strict conditions.
