Nottingham Forest have been given a double hint over movement on two possible summer transfers.
The Reds have been heavily linked with Huddersfield pair Lewis O’Brien and Harry Toffolo as Steve Cooper prepares his team for a first Premier League campaign in 23 years.
Reports this week claimed Forest were ready to launch a double bid of £10m to £12m for the Terriers duo. - with Toffolo valued at around £2.5m by Forest due to his being in the final year of his contract, with O’Brien rated in the region of £10m.

However, the Terriers are said to be looking for a fee of around £13m for O’Brien alone. Both players were involved in last season’s play-off final against Forest.
Huddersfield and Forest’s preparations for the new season are now well underway. Forest are in pre-season action against Barnsley this afternoon, while Huddersfield take on Doncaster Rovers.
Ahead of that game, the Terriers released their team sheet, with Forest fans on social media noticing two noticeable absentees in O’Brien and Toffolo. Here’s what some had to say upon noticing the omissions...
Alex (P) : No Toffolo or O’Brien #NFFC
@NFFCRED : No Lewis O'brien.. Forest bound hopefully.
Steve Gibson : I spot a couple of missing players.
Ethan Lamb: No Lewis O’Brien or Harry Toffolo in the Huddersfield squad for their game at Doncaster today. Surely only a matter of time now before the deal is done?
Premier League Reds : No Lewis O’Brien and no Toffolo! They’re on their way. #NFFC
