Combined with Octarine Core, Refresher Orb, and the rest of his late-game itemization, the strategy insanely reduced the cooldowns of Thundergod’s Wrath and Nimbus, allowing him to unleash devastating global magical damage.
The record is unlikely to be broken anytime soon because it required an extremely rare combination of factors: a game lasting nearly two hours, a hero capable of dealing reliable global damage, an unusual neutral item interaction, and enough late-game resources to continuously refresh powerful abilities.

First rampage at TI

Per Anders Olsson “Pajkatt” Lillehagen recorded the first rampage in Dota 2 The International’s history using Sniper during TI1 at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany on Aug. 17, 2011. Playing for OK.Nirvana.int, the Swedish carry accomplished the feat while playing Sniper against the French squad Virus Gaming.
Regarded as one of the pioneers of competitive Dota 2, Pajkatt was already an established name from the original Dota. His historic rampage came during the inaugural edition of TI, making him the first player to eliminate all five opposing heroes in quick succession on Dota 2‘s biggest stage.
