Southeast Asia Qualifier |
The 33-led Tundra Esports enter the tournament as the clear favorites after claiming four straight BLAST titles in five editions. However, Team Spirit, Team Yandex, and MOUZ are eager to seek redemption following their disappointing runs at FISSURE Universe Episode 8, where Aurora Gaming ultimately took the crown.
Team Liquid and the all-Filipino OG remain teams to watch, having delivered consistently strong performances in recent tournaments. Xtreme Gaming aim to sustain their momentum after dominating their region, while NAVI look to build on their stunning upset over PARIVISION in the intense European qualifier.
BLAST Slam 6 format

After hearing feedback from the competing teams, BLAST has overhauled the format of the playoffs, making it a single elimination bracket with best-of-five matches.
The 12 teams will start facing off in a single round-robin group stage, with every match played as a best-of-one. The top two teams advance to the semifinals directly, while the 3rd to 8th-placed teams enter the play-ins and the 9th to 12th-placed squads battle in the last chance playoff. The four teams that emerge out of the play-ins qualify for the quarterfinals.
For the first time in BLAST Slam history, every playoff match—including the quarterfinals and semifinals—will be a BO5 series, not just the grand final. This notable change turns the playoffs into a true test of skill and consistency of the teams.
BLAST Slam 6 schedule, results, and standings
