When June Brown passed away earlier this year, EastEnders fans lost the iconic character Dot Cotton.
June, who played Dot for more than three decades on the BBC soap, passed away in April at the age of 95.
Last month, it was confirmed the residents of Albert Square will be getting together to say their final goodbyes in a 'special episode airing this winter'.
Her character had been living in Ireland but her funeral will be held in Walford.
As Dot has been around for more than three decades, she's seen many faces come and go during her time there.
Here are some famous faces that would exhilarate viewers if they returned for the special episode...
Ian Beale
Dot was introduced on the show as the gossiping, chain-smoking friend of Ethel Skinner and Lou Beale.
Lou Beale was none other than Ian Beale's grandmother, who last appeared on the series in 1988.
By association, Ian (played by Adam Woodyatt) would be an ideal character to return to the Square to say goodbye to an old friend.
Charlie Cotton
Charlie Cotton, who is played by Declan Bennett, would be a realistic hope for a return as he is her grandson.
Dot and Charlie had been living together in Ireland ever since she departed London in 2020.
When she went to visit Ireland, Charlie was expecting a baby with his wife. So maybe his entire family can return for the special episode?
Max Branning
Max Branning, played by Jake Wood, became a part of Dot's family when she married Jim.
Jim had moved to Walford following Reenie's death and it didn't take him long to chase after Dot and the two tied the knot in 2002.
However, his sudden appearance could add a lot of problems in the square considering his past and dark storylines.

Stuart Highway
Stuart Highway, who was played by Ricky Champ, only last appeared at the end of last month.
Unsurprisingly, Stuart reminded Dot of her own criminal son, Nick Cotton.
Many fans thought Stuart left the series a bit too soon, despite his tumultuous time.
It might be a good idea for the character to return to pay respects to Dot during the special episode.
Rose and Andrew Cotton
Dot's half-sister Rose Cotton, played by Polly Perkins, hasn't been seen at the square in around a decade.
During the end of her time in London, she was unhappy and departed to reunite with her son Andrew (Ricky Grover).
The relationship and history are enough to hope the two will return to London for the funeral.
