Jake Doran has notched his fifth first-class century before rain washed away Tasmania's quest for a Sheffield Shield outright victory against Queensland.

The 27-year-old, resuming day two on his overnight score of 86, made a superb 101 as the Tigers progressed to a commanding 5-394.
