DoorDash suspends driver who said he would throw Trump supporters’ deliveries ‘out the window’

DoorDash has suspended a delivery driver who claimed he would hurl Trump supporters’ meal orders from his car window.

“Hey there to my Trump supporters, this is your local friendly DoorDasher,” a TikTok user said in a video posted on March 13.

“I just want to let you know that if I see a MAGA sign out front of your house, I'm going to take the utmost care to make sure that when I deliver your order, I throw it out the f****** window,” he said.

The user, a self-described Tarot card reader, followed this up with several more expletives.

On Friday, a MAGA-aligned account reposted the short clip on X, writing: “Make him famous, because he clearly can’t separate his personal views from his job.”

The post soon went viral, garnering more than half a million views and thousands of comments — including one from DoorDash.

“We’ve suspended his account while we investigate,” the food delivery company wrote. “Any Dasher who throws food out the window would immediately lose access to the platform.”

On Saturday, the TikTok user posted a follow-up video claiming that DoorDash had barred him from making deliveries. It’s not clear what state he was operating in.

The man appeared unfazed by the ordeal, which he described as “hilarious,” adding: “Y’all made my day.” He also claimed the company supports MAGA and urged viewers to refrain from using its services.

Headquartered in San Francisco, DoorDash is one of the largest food delivery firms in the country, boasting a market capitalization of approximately $63 billion. Earlier this month, the company said it employs over 8 million Dashers “who can reach almost anywhere in the U.S.”

The Independent has reached out to DoorDash and the TikTok user for comment.
