Six Parsi and Zoroastrian organisations have written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, requesting him to intervene and protect Tata Group’s character, warning that a stock market listing could undermine the conglomerate's long-term stewardship and philanthropic legacy, according to a report by Mumbai Mirror , which saw the letter.
The letter, dated October 7 and addressed to the Prime Minister, backs the Tata Trusts and the Tata family in the dispute over whether Tata Sons, the group’s holding company, should go public.
