Donny van de Beek told to leave Man Utd as Erik ten Hag reminded about warning from coaches

Donny van de Beek's latest chance to prove he can succeed at Manchester United may just be his final after yet another poor display against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup.

The Netherlands midfielder made a rare start for the Red Devils last time out in the Premier League against the Villians, with Unai Emery's men coming out on top in a 3-1 victory. Van de Beek was one of United's poorest performers in the clash and was subsequently hooked by Erik ten Hag on the 65-minute mark.

But Manchester United boss Ten Hag decided to give the former Ajax star another chance in the third round of the Carabao Cup this Thursday... and his show of faith once again backfired.
