Donegal GAA has confirmed that all championship games this weekend will be called off following the tragic explosion of a petrol station that has left at least seven people dead.
There was an explosion as Creeslough in Donegal which has left at least seven people dead with many still missing.
And Donegal GAA has confirmed that all games will be postponed.
The county board said: "The extent of fatalities and injuries at the terrible explosion this evening is not yet clear but there is little doubt that a tragedy of epic proportions is unfolding.
"The thoughts and prayers of everyone involved with CLG Dhún na nGall are with the community of Creeslough, the hardworking emergency services and the Gaels of CLG Naomh Micheál at this terrible time.
"All Donegal club championship games this weekend are being cancelled including the four county finals tomorrow afternoon and on Sunday."
Pictures from the scene show a major collapse at the premises, with the roof of the forecourt folded in on a number of cars as well as a large amount of fallen debris including bricks and shattered glass.
Donegal Independent councillor John O’Donnell told BBC Radio Ulster that he understands it was caused by a gas explosion.
He said the incident has left "a lot of people very seriously injured" although they don't yet know the number of casualties.
