Former President Donald Trump's plane encountered a mechanical issue while en route to Bozeman, Montana, for a fundraiser and rally. The aircraft was safely diverted and landed in Billings, according to a source familiar with the matter.
Despite the unexpected turn of events, Trump remained undeterred and is currently en route to his scheduled fundraiser in Bozeman.
Shortly after landing in Montana, Trump took to Truth Social to inform his followers of his arrival, making no mention of the plane's mechanical issue. In a video shared on the platform, Trump expressed his purpose for the visit, emphasizing his support for Tim Sheehy, a candidate running for the US Senate.
Trump stated, 'I'm here to do some fundraisers and most importantly to support Tim Sheehy, who's running for the US Senate and we think he's going to do really well.'
The former president's resilience in continuing with his planned engagements despite the minor setback showcases his commitment to his political activities and endorsements.
