Donald Trump’s old tweets saying Obama attacked Iran just to boost his popularity return to haunt him

They say there’s an old Donald Trump tweet for every occasion. Like clockwork, anytime he makes a major move, you can almost always find an old post of his criticizing others for doing the same thing, exposing him for the massive hypocrite he is.

But that’s especially true given Trump’s order to bomb Iran. Trump explicitly told the Iranian people that they must remain in their homes, as “bombs will be dropping everywhere“. And if you’re one of the unlucky people who somehow doesn’t live in a totally bomb-proof home? Uh, hm. Well, good luck!

It hasn’t escaped everyone’s attention that Trump and Netanyahu’s attack on Iran is suspiciously well-timed. Sure, Iranians are indeed protesting their government, but it’s mighty convenient that this comes along just as Trump could use a popularity boost after the Epstein revelations.

But, thankfully, Trump has no time for the kind of monster who’d do such a thing:

Wow, history really does repeat itself! Sorry, Jared Kushner, peace is over:

But why stop there? Let’s have the classic 2011 era Trump pillorying Obama for doing exactly what he’s doing right now:

“Our president will start a war with Iran because he has absolutely no ability to negotiate. He’s weak and he’s ineffective.”

It’s bad when Obama did it!

Pot, meet kettle. Hey, both of you guys are looking a little scorched! It’s perhaps repetitive to say that every accusation from MAGA is also a confession, but that doesn’t make it any less true.

They claim American democracy is under attack, while also conspiring to rig elections. They say ethnic minorities get unfair advantages while ensuring white men do the same. They will condemn the drug trade while their senior officials spend evenings in ketamine-fuelled stupors. They threaten to expose secret pedophile rings while…

Okay, you get the picture. Basically, the hypocrisy and lies stink. In Venezuela, Trump was at least open that he wanted their oil. In Iran, he’s talking some bizarre game about a civilian-led revolution. In both countries, the result will be the same: a corporate-run puppet state focused on draining natural resources to make a handful of obscenely rich Americans even more obscenely rich.
