Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and US ambassador to Poland Tom Rose engaged in a heated social media exchange after the US envoy announced that US would blacklist Polish parliamentary Speaker Włodzimierz Czarzasty because he said President Donald Trump does not deserve a Nobel Prize.

Czarzasty recently announced that he would not support an initiative put forward by US House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson and Israeli Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana to rally heads of parliaments to nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2026 for his efforts to bring peace to the Middle East.
