Domino's Pizza is offering job interviews to Argos employees after the retailer announced they would be closing all their stores nationwide.
Argos made the shock announcement last week, saying that all 34 of their Irish stores will be closed by the end of June. There are 580 people employed by the retailer in Ireland.
Domino's said that to show their support, they will be giving interviews to Argos employees seeking new opportunities. They said on Twitter: "We’re so sorry to hear about the recent job losses across Argos in Ireland.

"To show our support, we're offering interviews to people who find themselves looking for new opportunities at all levels. If you’re interested, contact storejobs@dominosireland.com and we’ll be in touch."
Mr Price has also made a similar gesture to Argos staff, saying they have "plenty of opportunities" for those affected by the imminent closures. They said: “Not to worry Argos workers.
"We’re hiring and our doors are always open if you’d like to join Ireland’s fastest growing discount retailer.”
A statement from Argos regarding the closures said: "As part of its consultation with colleagues and Mandate, the recognised trade union, Argos will propose an enhanced redundancy package that goes well beyond its statutory obligations.
"The small number of colleagues not eligible for redundancy under Irish Law are expected to receive a one-off goodwill payment."
