We all know that pizza tastes even better the morning after the night before, but what about a pizza designed SPECIFICALLY for breakfast? You heard me.
Takeaway giant best known for their loaded pizzas, Domino’s, have launched a brand new brekkie pizza to replace your usual fry up, but it’s caused something of a breakfast debate on social media.
Taking the classic breakfast from plate to pizza, the limited-edition Big Brekkie is made with Domino’s signature dough, topped with tomato pizza sauce, loaded with Cumberland sausage, smoked bacon, mushrooms, and chunky chopped tomatoes before being sprinkled with a generous layer of mozzarella cheese.

All sounds well until customers are asked to make a very important decision - are they team red or team brown? Domino’s have teamed up with Heinz to offer foodies the option of Heinz Tomato Ketchup or HP Sauce.
After the pizza chain announced the new menu item on Twitter, Heinz replied: “At this rate we'll be eating pizza for breakfast, lunch and dinner..... no complaints.”
Meanwhile, hungry customers have had their say on the latest creation, with Daniel Thompson writing: “Red sauce sausage bacon cheese AND a fry egg on top!”
Craig McMartin added: “Interesting. Perhaps a half and half, one half ketchup, one half HP sauce is in order. To see which tastes better.”
On Facebook, another customer wrote: “HP I can't waitttt to try!!” While others were firmly in the ketchup corner, writing: “we have to put our differences asside and fight the HP nutters!”
Speaking on the launch, Melanie Howe, ‘Secretary of Sauce’, said: “We’re so excited to launch our sauciest pizza yet in partnership with the master of sauces, Heinz. It’s a real saucy beast and has been in the making for over a year to ensure we serve up breakfast icons only. Whether it’s HP Sauce or classic Heinz Tomato Ketchup that tickles your taste buds, the Big Brekkie is guaranteed to turn up the steam and serve up all the saucy goodness!”
The Big Brekkie pizza is available now to order online, with prices from £9.99 for a personal pizza, or through the Domino’s app and from your nearest store. For more information head to www.dominos.co.uk .
