Domino's cracking St Patrick's Day deal for Irish pizza lovers

With the return of parades and not one, but two bank holidays to enjoy, this St Patrick’s Day promises to be bigger, better, and greener than ever before.

Brand new Domino’s research shows that almost 90% of people plan to go big on celebrating our patron saint this year, prompting the nation's best loved pizza company to reveal its top Dough’s and Doughn’ts for recovery throughout the extra-long weekend.

Delving into how Irish people are planning to recover from an epic Paddy’s Day party Domino’s found that a whopping 82% of people plan to don pyjamas or loungewear the following day, while over 60% will be tucking into pizza as their go to recovery food.

Perfect timing as Domino’s launches a craicing exclusive online deal for Paddy’s week, giving pizza lovers 30% off online orders of €30 or more between March 14 th - 20 th .

Some 89% of people plan to spend their recovery day chilling with friends, family or pets, the perfect time to try Domino’s group ordering feature, which lets you and your recovery crew easily add all your favourites to one order through the app.36% of people plan to do as little as possible and happily admit they probably won’t even get dressed!

Watching TV is high on the agenda for most, with almost half planning to binge a boxset and one third opting to catch up on all the series they’ve been recording.

As the most popular recovery food, and a sharing favourite, Domino’s expects Irish consumers to enjoy piping hot pizza throughout the week. The hard-working teams at Domino’s will bake their way through at least 30 tons of fresh mozzarella cheese, 28,876 litres of vine-ripened tomato sauce, and 30,846 kgs of fresh dough to satisfy pizza orders from the length and breadth of Ireland.

Pizza lovers will tuck into enough pizza to fill Croke Park’s pitch four times over, filling enough pizza boxes to stack Cork City Hall on top of itself 72 times!
