Dominic Raab’s row with Foreign Office staff caused a “blockage” during the evacuation of Afghanistan, it has been reported.
The Deputy Prime Minister’s relationship with officials, whom he viewed as “time-wasters”, had a negative impact the department’s efforts to evacuate amid the Taliban’s power-grab last year, according to the Guardian.
The Justice Secretary already faces a probe into his behaviour after two formal complaints were made against him.
