Domhnall Gleeson called out American host Stephen Colbert for mispronouncing his name during an appearance on his chat show.
The Irish actor, 39, was appearing on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert this week to promote his latest series The Patient, which he stars in alongside Steve Carell.
And the Dubliner was quick to call out the host for a ‘car crash’ attempt to pronounce his name on a previous episode with his co-star.

Domhnall, who is the son of actor Brendan Gleeson, said: "A few weeks ago, you had Steve Carrell on the show, and you said 'Now in this series you are with Dom-nom-nal Gleeson,.
"It was a car crash. It was a mess."

"Well, you can't blame me, Irish names are impossible," Colbert quipped back in defence.
However, Gleeson hit back with a line that won applause from the crowds, as he stated: "I’m not gonna take this from a Colbert"
Meanwhile, one viewer, comedy writer Amy O'Connor, shared her amusement at the exchange on Twitter, captioning the clip: “Deeply obsessed with Domhnall Gleeson calling out Stephen Colbert for making a hames of the pronunciation of his name.”
