Hubballi:The domestic air cargo service launched by Hubbali airport is receiving a poor response from the business community due to a lack of cargo.
The dedicated cargo terminal was built at a cost of Rs 60.6 lakh by modifying the old passenger terminal, which had been left unutilized following the commencement of the new passenger terminal building, and it has secured storage space for both inbound and outbound cargo, a dedicated room for valuables and dangerous goods, and provision for commercial space that can be used by airlines, major freight forwarders/ logistics players such as Postal Authorities, and e-commerce players.
