- Ahead of their Sunday night showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Miami Dolphins made a number of moves to add players to their active roster. Buy Dolphins Tickets
First, Miami signed offensive tackle Brandon Shell from their practice squad. Shell got playing time at left tackle when Terron Armstead went out with his toe injury, and then flipped to the right side last week.
He might get an opportunity this week because Austin Jackson wasn’t activated from injured reserve, and Armstead is questionable.
In addition, the Dolphins have also elevated safety Verone McKinley and defensive lineman Ben Stille for the contest. Neither has had a chance to play in the regular season, but with all of the injuries on the defensive side of the ball, we could see the undrafted rookies get a shot.
