The Dolphins have received a huge boost ahead of the derby against Brisbane with hooker Jeremy Marshall-King (foot) and prop Tevita Pangai Jnr (hamstring) back from injury.
Coach Wayne Bennett also confirmed lock Max Plath (calf) and forward Ray Stone (neck) were right to play as he made two significant changes to the team for Saturday night's showdown at Suncorp Stadium.
Regular half Isaiya Katoa will come off the bench with centre Jake Averillo switching to the halves. Trai Fuller comes into the side at fullback with Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow shifting to centre.
Bennett said he had taken all of his own emotions about playing against the Broncos out of the equation.
The Dolphins have lost nine of their last 12 games to slip to 10th and need to win both remaining games to play finals, just like the Broncos.
"You can't keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect a different result," Bennett said.
"We have been sticking with that and been pretty loyal to that. I just thought we are at a place now where we have to give ourselves a chance.
"(Katoa) has been up for too long actually. He is only young and it does impact on them. Just little things in his game have fallen away.
"The pressure is not just in the game in the NRL. The pressure is at training. The pressure is in your lifestyle and everything around you. He is only in his second year and by the time he gets to 50 or 60 games he will be fine.
"He has been wonderful for us but it is a big game tomorrow and we wanted to make sure we had everyone playing who was confident about what they were doing."
Averillo has played in the halves before at Canterbury and at youth level.
"It is a risk but I am in the risk business," Bennett said.
Fuller has been a great success filling in for Tabuai-Fidow in the past and his spark will be vital to the result.
"I love his energy. There is no-one in the team that doesn't want Trai to be playing with them," Bennett said.
"I tried to make it work off the bench but that wasn't going to work for us. He is pretty much just a fullback. We played him against Penrith (off the bench) but I made a mistake there.
"Hammer is pleased to (play centre). He realises the team is the most important thing, as much as he loves playing fullback. It is not a life sentence. Just for a couple of weeks."
The Broncos sacked Bennett in 2018 after he had won six titles with the club, but revenge and personal gratification is not motivating him
"I can't afford to do that. That is not my thinking. That is not my process. It doesn't work for me and it doesn't work for these guys," he said.
"I have to stay in line and be the responsible party here and lead from the front with it. I have to make sure my emotions and my own personal feelings have no impact on what we have got to do.
"My priority is for us to play well and execute well."
