Dolphins grab Central Michigan offensive tackle in two mock drafts on Tuesday

It’s evident to anyone with a general knowledge of the game of football that the Miami Dolphins offensive line was a hindrance to any type of legitimate production on that side of the ball in 2021.

Jesse Davis and Liam Eichenberg at the tackle spots were dreadful, ranking 79th and 80th, respectively, of 83 qualified tackles by Pro Football Focus.

This offseason, general manager Chris Grier and new head coach Mike McDaniel will be looking to upgrade at least one of those spots with either a veteran in free agency or another young prospect in the draft.

Two separate mock drafts this week, one by Mel Kiper Jr. at ESPN (subscription required) and one by Doug Farrar at Touchdown Wire, have the Dolphins selecting Central Michigan tackle Bernhard Raimann to fill that role.
