July NY world sugar #11 (SBN25) today is up +0.20 (+1.16%), and August London ICE white sugar #5 (SWQ25) is not trading today, with markets in the UK closed for the May Day holiday.

Sugar prices today are moderately higher as a weaker dollar (DXY00) has prompted short-covering in sugar futures after last week's sell-off.
