May NY world sugar #11 (SBK25) today is down -0.31 (-1.57%), and May London ICE white sugar #5 (SWK25) is down -6.30 (-1.14%).

Sugar prices today dropped to 1-week lows after the dollar index (DXY00) rallied to a 2-week high, prompting long liquidation in sugar futures. Sugar prices have rallied over the past two weeks, with NY sugar posting a 1-month high last Tuesday and London sugar posting a 3-3/4 month high on signs of lower global sugar production.
