Sugar prices today are moderately lower as strength in the dollar (DXY00) prompted long liquidation in sugar futures. Sugar prices have rallied over the past week, with NY sugar posting a 3-week high Tuesday and London sugar posting a 3-1/2 month high on signs of lower global sugar production.
