A massive street celebration is to be held to celebrate the life of Paul O'Grady on the day of his funeral.
His husband Andre Portasio is hosting a private ceremony on April 20 while a fan, named Janine Ferguson, is planning a sweet event in Paul's hometown of Birkenhead.
Janine is requesting fans bring books of condolences and their dogs as a sign of respect and to represent the late stars' adoration for animals.

Janine said: "The plan is for people to line the streets with their families and bring their dogs as a sign of respect. I’ve asked for all local rescue dogs and cats' homes to attend as well so we can collect donations from everyone there."
“It only started off as a small idea but it has gone absolutely mad. I’ve been overwhelmed by the positive reaction and the feedback."
The 67-year-old comedian and presenter died at his home on March 28 "unexpectedly but peacefully" according to Andre. It was later confirmed the Lily Savage star died from sudden cardiac arrhythmia.
The British Heart Foundation describes sudden arrhythmic death syndrome - or SADS - as a person dying suddenly following a cardiac arrest where no obvious cause can be found. Before his death, Paul had spoken openly about his battles with heart disease and had endured three heart attacks before the age of 65.
