A woman and her dog were injured after two other dogs attacked them. Avon and Somerset Police said the incident unfolded in the River Reach and Fisher Brook areas of Frome as the "large dogs" roamed the streets at around 9.30pm on May 12.
It is reported neither dogs had an owner with them and did not have collars on. They jumped up at a dog walker and her pooch, biting them in the process, SomersetLive reports.
The force said both have made a full recovery and did not need hospital treatment. Police believe the same dogs were involved in a separate incident in the Great Western area of Frome on April 28.
