Dogs remain in police detention after attacking two women

Two dogs remain in police detention after attacking women in Walton.

Police were called to Goodison Road, at around 12.30am on Thursday, April 20, after reports that two women were attacked by dogs on Ismay Street. Two Staffordshire Terrier dogs were detained by police.

The women were rushed to hospital with "severe injuries." Merseyside police have since confirmed that the injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
