Dog with 'protruding bones' removed from Falkirk couple after investigation

A Falkirk couple have been banned from keeping animals for 15 years after the ill-treatment of their dog which was found to protruding bones.

Michael Nisbet, 32, who's from Stenhousemuir and Rebecca Ward, 25, of Menstrie, were found guilty of failing to provide an adequately nutritional diet for their dog, Zeg, at Falkirk Sheriff Court on May 5.

They've also been ordered to carry out a community payback order totalling 300 hours of unpaid work between them following the Scottish SPCA investigation.
