Dog owner furious after stranger demands he change 'inappropriate' name

Naming your dog can be a fun task that gives owners the chance to be creative.

Pooches can be named after favourite foods, film characters, or even get regular human titles. Whatever is chosen, it is ultimately up to the owners to decide.

But one man has been left quite angered after a stranger ordered him to change his own dog's name as she called it "inappropriate." Taking to Reddit, he shared that his dog's name is Anya - after a character in the 90s TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
