Emergency services were hailed as heroes after rescuing a dog from underneath a Luas tram on Monday afternoon.
The pooch called Billy ended up beneath the red line commuter service at Fatima shortly before 3pm with services delayed as a result.
Concerned animal lovers gathered around the tram and attempted to help the frightened dog until emergency services arrived a short-time later.

Dublin Fire Brigade along with the DSPCA arrived at the scene and after close to an hour of trying were able to free their canine friend and assured everyone that Billy was getting the care he needed.
The dog was described as "injured but alive" with emergency services personnel getting a round of applause after the rescue.
A spokesperson for DFB said: "Earlier this afternoon, Firefighters from Dolphins Barn were called to a dog who was trapped under a tram on the red line.
"Working with @DublinSPCA the dog was freed and assessed by a vet before transport for further treatment."
The commuter service was however delayed for an extended period of time, with a spokesperson for the Luas announcing on social media: "Expect delays while the services are being regulated.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
