A canine behaviourist has said that a dog's behaviour and whether or not it is dangerous is more likely to depend on its body language than its breed.
Amid recent attacks in the UK, more attention has been focused on the banned breeds list - which identifies pit bull terriers, Japanese Tosas, Dogo Argentinos and Fila Brasileiros as dangerous breeds.
Any owner found with one of these breeds, which were first outlawed in the 1991 Dangerous Dogs Act, will have to put their pet down.
