Millie Bobby Brown has welcomed a second child with husband Jake Bongiovi, expanding their family a year after adopting their daughter.
The 22-year-old Stranger Things star introduced their baby boy on 17 September with a family photo captioned 'Hi little guy!' while People reported that the couple had again chosen adoption.
Despite building their family this way, Brown has previously made clear that she remains open to carrying a biological child in the future. The couple, who married in 2024, are now parents to two children while continuing to keep their names and faces largely outside the public spotlight.

Yes, although Brown has not announced any immediate plans to become pregnant.
Speaking to Kylie Kelce on the Not Gonna Lie podcast in June 2026, Brown addressed whether adopting meant she did not want to carry a child herself.
'Hopefully one day that's in my future,' she said, while explaining that adoption had always featured prominently in the family she imagined for herself.
Her comments make an important distinction. Brown has not presented adoption as an alternative she pursued because biological motherhood was unavailable or unwanted. Instead, she wanted adoption to be part of her family independently of whether she eventually experiences pregnancy.
She has not publicly disclosed when she might try to have a biological child or how many children she and Bongiovi ultimately hope to raise.
Why Millie Bobby Brown Chose Adoption First
Brown's interest in adoption began long before she became a parent.
She has described adoption as a childhood dream, recalling that even her dolls were adopted when she was around five or six. Her interest continued into adulthood, including through social work courses that introduced her to different sides of the adoption process.
'Adoption is love. Adoption is forever,' Brown said while discussing the subject with Kelce.
Bongiovi shared that vision, and the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, through adoption during summer 2025.
They announced her arrival that August, saying they were beginning their new chapter of parenthood 'in both peace and privacy.'

Brown and Bongiovi shared a photograph on Instagram showing their hands alongside those of their children, including their baby boy's tiny hand. The accompanying message simply read, 'Hi, little guy!'

People reported that the boy was welcomed through adoption, although the couple's announcement itself did not state how he joined the family.
The restrained announcement follows the approach Brown has taken with their daughter. She previously told British Vogue that protecting her child's story was important until she was old enough to decide what, if anything, she wanted to share publicly.
According to Brown, the possibility of having biological children has not been eliminated despite two adoptions. Although adoption is still the route she and Bongiovi have chosen to start their family, her most recent public remarks suggest that she still hopes having a child may be a part of her future.
After a waiting period that Brown called the most difficult aspect of adoption, that journey started with their daughter in the summer of 2025. She later described getting the call informing them that their daughter had been matched as 'the most surreal feeling,' adding that she and Bongiovi knew right away, 'This is our girl.'
