The third instalment in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, The Secrets of Dumbledore, is finally released in the UK today, April 8.
Fans of the Wizarding World will finally be able to find out what happens after Credence finds out about his true heritage - he's a Dumbledore.
In The Crimes of Grindelwald, the dark wizard has succeeded in luring the Ministry of Magic officials sent to arrest him into killing one of his followers.
In doing so, his magic-supremacy group is seen as 'victims' of a violent government. Riled by his big words and the murder of the young witch, his followers escape into the night to tell the world what they saw.
Now Grindelwald is one step closer to seizing control over the Wizarding World.
Albus Dumbledore ( Jude Law ), who plays an increasingly important role in this film, entrusts magizoologist Newt Scamander ( Eddie Redmayne ) to lead a group of wizards, witches and No-Maj Jacob (Dan Fogler) to help stop him.
After watching all this unfold, you might be wondering if it's worth staying for after the credits? Here is everything you need to know.
Is there a post credit scene in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore?
No, there is no post credit scene in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.
This will be helpful for you to know, as the running time is a whopping 2h 23m.
We're not saying you shouldn't stay until the end if you want to listen to some amazing music, or to show your respect to all the people who worked hard on the movie.
But if you do, you will simply be met with the Warner Bros logo at the end.
Will there be a Fantastic Beasts 4?
Yes. On October 14 2016, JK Rowling announced there will be five films in the Fantastic Beasts series.
Rowling co-wrote the script for The Secrets of Dumbledore with Steven Kloves.
The release date and titles for the fourth and fifth films are yet to be revealed.
Wizarding World Producer David Heyman revealed in February that the script for Fantastic Beasts 4 hasn't been started yet.
This is not surprising, considering the team have been very busy with the release of The Secrets of Dumbledore.
The third film has experienced a few obstacles along the years, first by the coronavirus pandemic, and then by the departure of Grindelwald actor Johnny Depp.
It originally had a November 2021 premier date. Instead, it will release in US theatres on April 15, and the UK a week earlier on April 8.
