Even when he had sprained his ankle in an avoidable loss to the Chicago Bulls last week, superstar Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum did not take the Celtics’ next game off. And while that might have been the difference between a win over the Dallas Mavericks or falling at the hands of Mavs star Luka Doncic, might it not have been better for the Celtics to have rested the St. Louis native given Tatum running out of gas in the 2022 NBA Finals?
