With the property market the way it is at the moment, many buyers are turning to renovation projects in a bid to make the most of their investment.
Going for something that needs a bit more love than the average house in that area might mean a bigger outlay at first, but could lead to bigger rewards when you eventually come to sell. You might also get more for your money in a dream location.
The ECHO has taken a look at the best fixer upper properties on the market across Merseyside right now. These include massive manors, Victorian red bricks, 1930s semis and classic two-up two-downs.

Garth Drive, Aigburth
On Garth Drive in Allerton is a stunning period home for sale for £925,000. Despite the hefty price tag, any buyer willing to take this on could reap endless rewards.
