Dodgy dog breeders are creating Frankenstein puppies in amateur labs to sell for up to £40,000 each.

The new breeds – such as hairless and fluffy bulldogs – are being developed in unregulated fertility clinics across Scotland, an investigation by the Sunday Mail has found.

Others being created are described as “hairless French bulldogs”.
